Introduction to the AI Chatbot (Claude) helped me grow in so many ways. Claude stimulated thinking from different perspectives. It developed new concepts and pushed my boundaries. The system helped me brainstorm ideas and think outside of the box for a number of different projects throughout the semester.
LGBT vs Religion Seminar
What made this assignment the most difficult for me and how did I overcome it?

This assignment was the most difficult for me because it was personal to me. I'm a part of the LGBT+ community and have personal struggles with the acceptance of religion. Completing this assignment allowed me to see other views on this matter. I gained a new understanding of the opposed side position on this topic.

What is one discovery I made during this assignment I feel will stick with me for a long time and why?
One discovery I made during this assignment; I feel will stick with me for a long time is the ability to communication successfully. This project was my absolute favorited project. My partner and I had to complete the podcast from home via zoom. We had to work with each other's schedules to make sure we could record correctly and efficiently. It turned out perfectly! We both were so happy with the outcome and class grade. Without a strong foundation of commination, that would not have been possible.

What can I continue to improve on from this experience and why?

On this project I can continue to improve on my patience from this project. Although the topic was so fun, this project was the most tedious assignment. I wanted to give up on it several times. I'm used to knocking stuff out in one go, so having to meticulously build this thing bit by bit was kind of maddening. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to say, "forget this!" and bail halfway through. But I realized that pushing through the tedious parts is where I have room to grow. Going forward, I want to remember these feelings when I just want something to be done already. Slow and steady does win the race sometimes.
Space Cat
How has this activity introduced a concept or topic I wish we could have continued to learn more about?

Let me tell you, Space Cat totally blew my mind! I had never even heard of that idea before Mrs. A brought it up in class. But it gave me this whole new framework to understand how communication works in, like, any situation. By identifying the speaker, purpose, audience, context, and urgent reason something is communicated, it’s way easier to analyze what’s happening. I used to just take things at face value without questioning why someone is saying something or why now. Tracking the Space Cat elements really opened my eyes! I feel this weird sense of power now when I listen to speeches, read articles, or even just scroll social media. It’s like putting on glasses that bring everything into focus. I can define all the forces and details shaping every message around me.
